MAKNA SILAT DALAM ACARA JALANG MANJALANG NINIK MAMAK KENAGARIAN SIALANG KECAMATAN KAPUR IX KABUPATEN LIMA PULUH KOTA

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the meaning of Silat in jalang Manjalang Ninik Mamak Kenagarian Sialang District Kapur IX Fifty Cities. This type of research is qualitative, with descriptive analytical methods. The object of the study was Silat which was gathered at the Jalang Manjalang Ninik Mamak event in Kenagarian Sialang District Kapur IX Fifty Cities. This type of data uses primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are conducted through library reviews, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps to analyze data are collecting data, describing data, identifying data and inferring data.The results showed that the meaning of silat in the Event Jalang Manjalang Ninik Mamak is as a sign of the payment of debt to nagari. Because of every persukuan there must be a dubalang as thin as the persukuan that represents at the spoiled bitch event. Persukuan in Kenagaraian Sialang there are 8 persukuan is Suku Pitopang Darat, Suku Melayu, Suku Niliang, Suku Pitopang Basa, Suku Melayu Tolang, Suku Domo, Suku Kabaru, Suku Piliang.This silat is displayed as a form of protection ninik mamak and all the people who follow the event spoiled because when the event is taking place there are people who intend not good to ninik mamak.This Manjalang Bitch event is held for four days. On the first day of the event will be held on the page of The An-Nur Sialang Grand Mosque with fighters from the land pitopang tribe and malay tribes. On the second day of this spoiled bitch event was carried out at the house of Dt. Bosa with fighters from the suku pitopang darat and suku melayu. On the third day of the event spoiled bitch Ninik Mamak conducted in the courtyard of Nagari Sialang market with fighters from suku melayu tolang and suku domo. And on the fourth day of the spoiled bitch event Wali Nagari which was conducted in the courtyard of the Nagari Sialang Government Office with fighters from suku melayu tolang and suku domo.
